Want to continue helping children for generations to come? Wonja, 59, chose to include SOS Children’s Villages in her will to make an impact on children long after her lifetime—and so can you.

Wonja first discovered SOS Children’s Villages in 1999 through her local school, where the students sponsored children in need. “It immediately touched me, and I decided to become an SOS Children’s Villages sponsor,” Wonja remembers.

And she wanted to ensure that children would still be protected, even beyond her own time.

“I like helping others,” Wonja explains. “My parents were very welcoming people. They taught me that if you can help, you should. I will soon be 60 years old, and I have no heirs. So, I chose to give part of what I own to SOS Children’s Villages. Many people are surprised when they learn that I have already written my will—but for me, it was important to do so while I was young and healthy.”

The process was easy: “I was well-supported by SOS Children’s Villages,” she says. “They allowed me to think about details I hadn’t thought of. It’s a relief to know that everything will be handled carefully. I will, therefore, be able to offer a better future to children after I’m gone.”
