SOS Children's Villages in Ahmedabad
The Shreyas Foundation was started many years ago in Ahmedabad, the capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. This foundation is a child-care facility with a day school, a boarding school and staff quarters for the teachers. It is run on strictly vegetarian principles. The site is situated on a hill on the outskirts of the city of Ahmedabad
SOS Children's Village Ahmedabad was constructed on the grounds of the Shreyas Foundation in 1981. It consists of four family houses and the necessary administration and service area.
