SOS Canada's Birthday Block Party
Join us on Wednesday, August 28 at the OTTAWA sign at York Street Plaza (York Street and Sussex Drive) in the ByWard Market in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of SOS Children’s Villages in Canada.
The SOS Canada Birthday Block Party is located just steps away from the SOS Canada’s National office on ByWard Market Square. Join in the activity of drawing your own ‘Loving Home’ and add it to the SOS office windows to show your support in caring for children worldwide.
Enjoy live performances, interactive games, or participate in one of the fun-filled activities happening throughout the day – all in support and celebration of SOS Children’s Villages!

Partake in the ByWard Market Passport Challenge
SOS Children’s Villages is the world’s largest international charity working with orphaned and abandoned children in 135 different countries. To celebrate the diversity of the ByWard Market, SOS Children’s Villages will be leading a ByWard Market Passport Challenge. The passport booklet will feature various businesses in the ByWard Market and will be handed out to the public. Participants of the Passport Challenge will be required to visit the businesses listed in the booklet. For each location visited, participants will receive a stamp in their passport for raffle entries (no purchase necessary).
