SOS relies on the kindness and generosity of Canadians to be able to provide a home for the most vulnerable children around the world.
SOS Children's Villages in Athens
The SOS Social Centre in Athens provides support for families at risk of breaking down. SOS Children’s Villages works directly with families and communities to empower them to effectively protect and care for their children and to prevent separation, in cooperation with local authorities and other service providers.
The SOS Babies and Infants Hostel (Hostel Eliza) is a crisis intervention centre for babies and infants aged 0 to 5 which also provides psychological support for the biological family. This program is developed in cooperation with a local NGO (Eliza Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).
