SOS Children's Villages Now Accepting Donations for Ebola Emergency Program
As the Ebola virus ravages Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, SOS Children’s Villages is particularly concerned about the impact on children.
Many children in the affected regions have already been orphaned. Many more are at risk of losing parental care. To make matters worse, such children are being stigmatised by society. In addition, the indefinite closure of schools is already having a devastating impact on education – with children again most affected.
SOS Children’s Villages will be working in the coming months to help children who have been orphaned or are at risk of losing parental care in this crisis. This is a big task and we’re working right now to ensure that we can help as many affected children as possible.
Your donation to SOS Children’s Villages Ebola Emergency Program will go toward the following:
- Working with orphaned or unaccompanied children in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea
- Funding programs such as the SOS Medical Centre in Monrovia, Liberia, which is the only medical centre running 24/7 in the Liberian capital
Your support is critical to helping children and families in Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea. Please help make a difference by donating now.
