About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for leading SOS Children's Villages Canada’s corporate partnerships portfolio. The role focuses on developing and executing strategies to secure, grow, and manage corporate partnerships that support SOS Children's Villages’ mission.
The successful candidate will drive growth in the corporate fundraising program, build multi-year partnerships, and steward relationships with corporate donors and partners, ensuring alignment with SOS Children’s Villages Canada’s programmatic priorities and impact goals.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic leader who takes initiative in driving corporate partnership efforts. They are a strong relationship manager with the ability to cultivate, secure, and steward corporate partnerships.
Core responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising & Business Development
Develop and implement a corporate partnerships strategy to grow revenue and engagement.
Identify and cultivate new corporate prospects, securing partnerships through donations, sponsorships, and cause marketing initiatives.
Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and negotiations for corporate funding opportunities.
- Manage a portfolio of 75+ corporate donors, ensuring long-term engagement and renewals.
Partnership Management & Stewardship
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for all corporate partners, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
Develop and execute tailored stewardship plans, including impact reporting, recognition, and engagement opportunities.
Work closely with internal teams to align corporate funding with the organizations program priorities and initiatives.

Corporate Engagement & Activation
Develop and implement innovative corporate engagement programs, including employee giving, workplace fundraising, and corporate volunteering.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance corporate recognition and storytelling.
- Plan and execute corporate partnership events, networking opportunities, and impact showcases.
Administration & Performance Tracking
Oversee tracking of corporate partnerships, revenue, and donor interactions in CRM system (Raiser’s Edge).
Monitor and evaluate corporate fundraising performance, preparing regular reports for leadership.
- Ensure compliance with donor agreements and corporate giving policies.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate fundraising, sponsorship, business development, or sales.
Proven track record in securing and managing six and seven-figure corporate partnerships.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related education/experience.
Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior-level executives.
Strong proposal writing and presentation skills (English essential, French or Spanish an asset).
Experience working with CRM software (Raiser’s Edge, or similar).
Proven knowledge of current theories and practices in corporate social responsibility.
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability to problem solve, navigate ambiguity, and take initiative.
Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally.
